Concept and Inspiration
The video features a duotone black and gold aesthetic, symbolizing the duality of two parallel worlds—one of luxury and the other of darkness. 3D looping animations illustrate the lyrics, with lettering overlaying the scenes to reveal the contrasting world beneath.
Throughout the video, “El Dorado” is visible only through the text, acting as a window to another world. In the chorus, the scene fills with gold, concealing the darker world behind the letters.
